My Experience with Mamaearth Ultra Light Indian Sunscreen
Talking about my experience with this sunscreen, I would start from its packaging. The mamaearth sunscreen comes in a plastic tube, which I feel is quite handy and similar to many other sunscreens. The consistency of the mamaearth ultra light indian sunscreen is just like a lotion. It is neither too liquidy nor too thick. I have been applying it for I guess more than 15 days and it is very light on my skin. The products of mamaearth are said to be paraben free and toxin free, which is itself a great thing. Unlike many other sunscreens, mamaearth sunscreen is non-greasy.
The only thing everyone of us look for in a sunscreen is to be non-greasy, which I found in this particular sunscreen from mamaearth. The product has a slight yellowish tinge to it, as it claims to have natural ingredients like turmeric, which is itself good for skin.
Coming to the fragrance of this product, it carries a very mild fragrance, which generally fades away with time. If you have very oily skin, then you might feel it to be a bit greasy initially, but then it settles and is beautifully absorbed into the skin. And the best part I would say is that, it doesn’t leave your skin patchy.
How to use it?
There is nothing new with this sunscreen, all you have to do is:
- Wash your face
- Pat it dry
- And directly apply the sunscreen on your face and skin exposed areas
- Also, keep re-applying it for better results or especially when you are continuously under skin
Drawback of Mamaearth sunscreen
According to me, not only the mamaearth sunscreen but almost all the mamaearth products are priced a bit higher than they should be. It retails for INR 499 just for 80ml, which I feel is a bit pricey. Moreover, the mamaearth products are almost more than 500 bucks, which is a bit too more if you are buying it to try it for the first time.
Should you buy Mamaearth Ultra Light Indian Sunscreen?
Well, of course “Yes”. I would definitely recommend to buy this sunscreen, if you are looking for an organic sunscreen, especially for sensitive skins. I would rate it 4.5 out of 5, as the only fact I don’t like about it is the price. The formula of this sunscreen is great and completely safe for all skin types. And I am personally gonna keep using this sunscreen this summers.
